Mezzotint is an intaglio printmaking technique that involves creating an image on a copper plate and printing with a press.

This is an unframed print; it will be sent to you in a clear plastic envelope with a foam core backing.

The moth species is Waved Sphinx (Ceratomia undulata.) It is one of many moths that visited my back porch light in newest the summer of 2020; I "collected" them in photographs and then they were released to go on about their lives. The print is based on my photos.
