Gallery-wrapped canvas: Painting stretches over the edges of the frame. This process allows the image to be continually seen at the sides of this artwork. The thickness is 2cm that gives depth to the viewing experience. This painting is designed to be displayed without a frame.

I recycle materials which people throw away after use (aluminium foil, cling film, combs, etc.) and reuse the cleaned materials to paint with. The leaves of the painted tree were made with a crunched-up ball of aluminium foil whilst the night sky was created with a brush and a small sheet of cling wrap.

The high-pigmentation colours used for this painting are from 'Royal Talens' who are working hard to reduce their carbon footprint by lowering energy consumption, using cleaner energy, reducing transportation as well as waste and packaging which is made with recycled/or recyclable materials. newest
