This doll is named "Spring Dream" which is made by Uzaburo that is factory in Gunma newest prepafecture. The doll's atmosphere is elegant and beautiful. The deep pink kimono is drawn a lot of light pink cherry blossoms. The black obi is good balance of color. We recommend for gift.

Kokeshi Dolls are major dolls in Japan which are made from wood.
Their origin was in Edo era (1603A.D. - 1867A.D.) as souvenirs for the injured at hotsprings.
Since then kokeshi craftn's skills to make grains and paint was so developed that kokeshis became ornamental dolls.
