The shiny gold anodized aluminum scales are knitted in an overlapping pattern that covers the back of the hand and wrist. Sturdy pristine white acrylic yarn forms the base of these gauntlets. The palm is scale free for comfort. The thumb holes allow this to be worn over the hand, or ignore the thumbholes and wear it higher on the wrist. The white yarn is beautiful, but it does show every speck of dirt. Fortunately, these are hand washable in warm water and laundry detergent, lay flat to dry.
The scales on this pair of gauntlets run up the arm, instead of pointing down toward the fingers. This gives them an intimidating bristling effect.
They measure about 6.5" (19cm) long and just over 6" (15.5cm)in circumfrence with stretch up to 8" (20.5cm).
