Here's a fabulous set of 12 face, or hand, towels from the 1930s, hand-woven into an embossed honeycomb structure, which gives them a deliciously comfortable soft texture. These towels were widely used for the face, babies, hands and household stains. Easy to maintain. !!
The old embossed fabrics were much thinner than today which gives them a silky side that is no longer present in today's fabrics.
The SB monogram is embroidered with cross stitch at one end. Probably never used.
