This piece of multicolored agate came from a chunk of Madagascar ocean jasper. I bought it off Ebay. The sales pictures only showed the jasper side. The stone turned out to be half agate. The agate had multiple colors, but was full of fractures. This newest piece is part agate (red and blue) and part jasper (green and orange). An amazing mix of colors.
