Up for sale today is this Wyoming state line sign. Made to the exact state standard in approximately the 1960s. The speed limit of 60 alludes to the days before 1973 when the speed limit was set by the states as opposed to national speed limit of 55. Wyoming has always had a cowboy or two or three on their state line signs since the 1930s.

An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; also, as far as I know, they have all been destroyed. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing a hernia.

The sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. The state line signs in use in the field are much more colossal - this one is a precise rescaling of the freeway style sign down to a much more manageable size for display: your choice of 24 by 12, or 36 by 18 inch size. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary newest display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a different size version,please ask as I can certainly make one!)

This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
