John Masefield was an English poet and writer. He was Poet Laureate from 1930 until 1967. His best known novels include 'The Midnight Folk' and 'The Box of Delights'. Condition Report: In the original quarter paper vellum binding. Externally, very smart. Light shelfwear to newest the head and tail of spine and extremities. A few light spots to the vellum at the spine. Bookplate to the recto of front endpaper, 'James MacKenzie Davidson'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright.
