Newest 1920s Christmas Glamour Girl Antique Tin Box, Mae Murray in Santa Claus Hat, Canco Beautebox, Old Hollywood Movie Star Vintage Holiday Décor

Always a treat to be able to offer one of these at Christmas! Highly collectible vintage Canco Beautebox tin with movie star Mae Murray on the lid in a Santa hat, giving us great glamour girl appeal. And Mae is in very nice antique condition on this example! Dates to the 1920s, from the series of tins featuring early film stars from the silent movie era, with artwork by Henry Clive. (This rectangular tin never seems to have the Clive signature though.) Wonderful Christmas decoration, and inspired gift for the film buff. Lid is hinged. About 7 7/8 by 3.5” by 1 1/8” tall.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor dents and dings, some newest minor early rust, etc.
•Mae Murray artwork is in nice antique condition, not a lot of wear.
•Some other small scratches and scuffs on tin that tend to stand out against black background. Some on lid, and three sides of base have some, with a cluster on one end.
•Fourth side of base, an end, has some mild-ish denting.
•Some dark paper label residue on inside lid and some scattered small rust spots.
•Less wear on inside base, some minor rust, mainly at crevice.
•Light-ish wear on bottom outside, some wear and minor rust around edges.
•Hinge well attached, moves freely.
•Opens/closes fine.

The tin is empty.

No longer for food use. Any props not included.
