This is a teapot with lid in Staffordshire's "Liberty Blue" pattern. The scenes are from original copper engravings of historic colonial scenes painted on ironstone from Staffordshire. The teapot scene is titled "Minute Men." Beautiful vintage used condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. "Liberty Blue" was first produced in 1975, just before the US Bicentennial, and it remains popular and highly collectible today.
