Description:
A Poole Pottery hand painted lidded preserve jar from the "Bokhara" range designed by Robert Jefferson. The jar is shape number 654 in the colours "OA A" (Sepia & Lilac) as shown on page 114 of the "Poole Pottery" by Hayward & Atterbury.

Marked on the base as shown in the photograph.
Age / date of manufacture:
1964.
Size:
Measures 5 1/4" (13.5 cm) tall (measured to the top of the lid) and is 3 1/8" (just under 8 cm) in diameter across the rim. Measures 4" (10.25 cm) wide at the widest point.
Condition:
In excellent undamaged condition.
