Unusual Modern Wood Sculpture of newest Man / Wooden Art Work in 3D of Human Figure

This is an unusual original newest wood carving of an elongated man. This figurative work has an unusual form, being quite tall (16”) and quite narrow. I bought this from a collector with some other work in Tulsa, OK. It has an accession number in pencil on the bottom. I date this to the 1920's and 1940's. I don't think it's African, but possibly inspired by African and Oceanic forms. Asking 125.00.
