A beautiful purple Iris suncatcher is mounted on a 10 inch brass ring. The petals are a mix of purple/white streaky glass and glass that is dark blue with purple streaks; the leaves are a variegated green. The overall size is approximately 11" x 11" because some of the petals/leaves extend beyond the 10 inch brass ring. The flowers and leaves have been wrapped in 20 gauge wire that is embedded in solder to add strength/stability to them. It is complete with chain attached for newest easy hanging in a window or your favorite place. Handcrafted in my Minnesota studio.
Care of your new stained glass: Gently clean with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed. Dry with a soft cloth.
Hanging your new stained glass: A cup-hook should be screwed into the wood frame for the stained glass to hang from. Attaching to a window with just a suction cup is not encouraged (except for smaller items) due to the weight of most pieces.
The solder used in the creation of the stained glass piece does include lead.
