Vintage Chinese Miniature Bonsai Tree Jadeite Rose Quartz Carnelian Hand Carved
Great condition: previously owned and used only for display; one petal on the top rose quartz flower is missing the top half, but it is hardly noticeable as it is behind another petal (see picture). No scratches, cracks or repairs. Please see photos and read description.
This is a sweet vintage jadeite newest and other semi-precious stones tree in a green jadeite planter. The symbol of the jade tree is "huakai fuki" meaning wealthiness. The piece is hand carved and measures 5.5" wide, 7.25" high, and the top of the base measures 2 3/4" x 3". The leaves and flowers are wired to the tree trunk, so they can be rearranged if desired. The tree trunk is embedded in the base planter with tiny gravel bits. The base and the leaves are jadeite, the pale pink flower petals are rose quartz, and the one dark flower is carnelian. The stamens in the flowers are bell-shaped mother of pearl. This lovely bonsai tree would fit into any Asian grouping or zen garden, just to name a couple of the many possibilities. It will be treasured in any collection.
