After newest consulting with several professional specialists, I came to the informed conclusion that the wonderful beaded items from this collection could originate from the region of the Balkans, Royal Russia or Native America.

They follow the rich European tradition of crafting such original beaded jewels, and add native, folklore elements to their ornamentation. All of the items from this collection are crafted between the second half of XIX and the first third of XX century.

The beaded items from this collection were brought to me by a rich Bulgarian family, who predecessors were immigrants in America in the end of XIX century. When they came back to participate in the WWI, they brought these Native American items with them. Their children inherited the goods just to give them to their children an so on. Now the last inheritors decided that they no longer need these jewels, so they sold them to me.

These beautiful items were handcrafted in the end of XIX to the first decade of XX century by a native tribe. It takes a lot of time and concentration to make pieces of art like these. The family wasn't sure about the exact tribe from which these things originate from. The items from this collection are 100% authentic antique relics. If you look in the specialized literature, you will find similar items with almost identical ornaments. So I believe that the items are very valuable and beautiful. A true treasure for every collector of traditional pieces of art.
