This teacup toadstool mushroom pin cushion is handmade out of pure Merino and Corriedale wool roving, using needle felting techniques. Each mushroom takes hours to complete. They are created with extensive detail to look as realistic as possible. They are then put in place on a mound of "grass", which is also made from a mixture of Merino and Corriedale wool roving placed over steel wool to sharpen your pins. Once completed, the mound and mushrooms are glued to the inside of the teacup.
The final piece is the little ladybug pin. Like the rest, it is also made from a mixture of Merino and Corriedale wool roving, which is needle felted around a small sewing pin. This allows the ladybug to be moved around the grass or even placed on one of the mushrooms!
