60s Cream Ultra Soft Cashmere newest Coat with Fine Details S M

This newest coat was probably made to never go out of style because it is truly chic and elegant in its simplicity. Its greatest feature is the very soft cashmere doeskin from which it was made. The color is as creamy as the feel, in a pale beige-cream shade. The lining is rayon crepe faille-backed satin. The buttons are domed, covered in cord, and with plastic shanks, while the buttonholes are tailored. You can button the coat up to the neck with a loop and hidden button. Hand-sewn pick stitching details the collar edges and the shoulder seams. The lining appears to have been hand sewn in place. There are slightly angled pockets. The only label reads "Premium Quality 100% Cashmere Hand Tailored" and includes a lovely cashmere goat. I believe the coat dates from the first half of the 1960s.

Condition: Very very good. I repaired a seam in one pocket lining, and along the inside of one buttonhole. The only flaw is slight wear to the nap at the buttonholes and cuffs, the most obvious shown in the last two photos.

Size: Small to medium, depending upon how much you'd like to wear beneath. The coat has rather petite lengths (sleeves, overall length) and the shoulders are a bit narrow. So the fit may be best on a US size 6P, 8P or 10P.
