Presenting: A chic vintage turquoise dress with matching cropped jacket made from rich dupioni fabric and finished with sky blue rhinestone buttons.

-Dates from 1963 to 1970.
-Divine and vibrant mixture of turquoise and sky blue.
-All labels/tags are on the dress, none on the jacket.
-Brand label at inside back neckline reads, “Rona. A fashion investment.”
-Composition label at inner right armpit.
-(Vintage) size 14, according to tag.
-58% rayon and 42% acetate fiber composition woven into either a rayon shantung or dupioni fabric.
-Union label attached to inner skirt lining.

Key Design Elements/Features:

-Sleeveless fitted dress with princess seams & no waist seam.
-High oval neckline & rolled collar with decorative fabric bow at front left side.
-Turquoise metal ELEM zipper at center back.
-Inside of dress is lined with muted, pale silver/lavender acetate from the horizontal bust darts down to the bottom skirt hem and bodice area above the bust darts is lined with 2nd layer of the turquoise shantung/dupioni fabric.

-Matching cropped, box cut jacket with inset ¾ length sleeves.
-Round neckline w/ no collar.
-Double breasted with six pave, openwork blue rhinestone dome buttons with a silver metal base.
-Fully lined with same muted, pale grey/lavender acetate as dress.


Condition Rating: VERY GOOD

JACKET:
-Bottom left button is missing one blue rhinestone. Hard to notice and can easily be fixed, if an identical or nearly identical replacement is found.
-Very, very faint strips/lines of “dingy” discoloration at a couple areas right along/under the edge of each sleeve cuff.

DRESS:
-Thin tinge of tan/brown discoloration around ¾ of front neckline seam but the rollover collar covers this defect completely. It can only be seen when one lifts up the front flap of the collar.
-On the front left side, around the hip/lower waist area, there is one horizontal & linear, small, faint “streak” of a beige/cream color.
