One of the most unique rings I have come across in my many years of collecting! This 9 carat solid yellow gold Double Headed Eagle vintage ring, bearing a shield with two natural Diamonds and one natural Ruby, held by two hands, is a style that is usually associated with Claddagh or Fede Gimmel rings. Conversely, Double Headed Eagles and shields have a history in Masonic rings, however, not generally in combination with hands holding newest these. I must therefore assume that this ring was specifically created for someone.
An exceptional piece of jewelry history in outstanding vintage condition, with all three gemstones and their prong settings intact. The hallmark includes the 375 stamp for 9 carat gold.
