Navy Sweatshirt Jacket, Multiple Sizes, Transformed Sweatshirt, Comfort Wash Brand, Blouse not included newest

This is a Comfort Wash sweatshirt transformed into a jacket. It is a Navy color with a Cayenne Red button tab.

My Creative Process:

I started by deconstructing the sweatshirt. I cut a 2" piece out of the center of the sweatshirt, opening up the sweatshirt to form a jacket. The edges were turned back and stitched. The button tab was created from the cuffs from a different sweatshirt. I love the color contrast. I've added a piece of batik fabric to decorate the button tab.

The cuffs were cut off the jacket, the edges finished and turned back. The cuffs newest were made into the pocket. The pocket was also decorated with the batik.

Large buttons were added to the tab for a closure. A button was also added to the pocket for an embellishment.
