Authentic Umba sapphires are natural, precious gemstones that are found near the Umba River in Tanzania, Africa. They come in a range of unique colours. These sapphires can also exhibit a unique colour-changing quality, and they may change colour between natural and artificial light sources. Different colour variations are available. This is an original piece of Fireflies Atelier jewelry. We meticulously craft every piece by hand using solid sterling silver, gold-plated silver, 14k gold, or 18k gold, and combine these with authentic, natural gemstone beads, and freshwater pearls. We select our gemstones to highlight their unique colours and natural inclusions. Slight irregularities in the colouring, shape and size of authentic gemstones are normal, and enhance the charm and individuality of every piece.
