Vintage 1950's full skirt party dress in a princess cut. The sleeves come slightly out on the shoulders. It has a scoop neckline and cummerbund style at the waist. The back of the waist is finished with a large bow that has a small snap to keep it in place. It has a full skirt with a layer of tulle sewn in. There is a metal zipper up the back of the dress. There are two layers of fabric to the dress. The outer fabric looks to be chiffon and the floral design is printed on this fabric. The flowers are in shades of blue with white velvet type accents on them. There are also green leaves. The fabric under feels to be a type of taffeta. It is newest in a very pale shade of blue. There are two tags, one is the union label and the other has the size and style numbers.

What a perfect dress for a wedding, tea party or to show off your vintage style. You can add an additional petticoat under for more volume. It is in excellent condition with no damage to note. The size on the tag indicates it to be a 26. It is shown on a size 2/4 body form and fits it like a glove. Please use the measurements below as reference.
