Stainless Steel Military Bezard Compass (circa 1950’s) / Military Gifts / Military Compass Gift / newest Compass Gift / German Compass

Camouflaged and ebonized stainless steel, Military Officer Marching/Direction compass, Bezard Kompass, with a small leather button up pouch, Model ‘IS' made by the Lufft Company of Stuttgart, Germany, and possibly made for the French Army, circa 1950s-1960s. [The model I-S, the smallest model, was made for the German and French armies and for the German Border Police (BGS).

Condition: Other than some minimal wear and scratches to the outer casing the compass is in very fine condition as is the pouch, the interior is excellent and the dial is quite clear to take observational readings. A very solid and high-quality execution in top condition and functional.
