This specially designed backboard has the dart board mounted towards the top of the unit. This is perfect for those with low ceilings, and/or for those who typically miss low/short and need extra (longer) protection below the board. The top of the frame of this unit will mount low enough to accommodate low ceilings of roughly 80" or higher.
This unique product is a 24” inch wide, 32” inch tall, and 1.5” inch deep protective dart board backboard, handmade with solid pine trim. The backboard features a 1" thick insert of a specially selected material chosen to effectively catch darts. A steel tipped dart will stick right into this felt covered insert on a "missed" throw, protecting your wall from holes, while preserving the tips of your darts from premature dulling.
This unit comes with the standard universal dart board mounting clip already mounted for you. It is recessed into the backing so your dart board mounts flush up against backboard. No bumpers or shims necessary!
Installation is easy! A single screw mounts your dart board to the clip. And unique to this "low ceiling" style only, the unit mounts with two metal key-hole brackets on the top of the back side of the unit, as well as through two holes in the bottom of the unit. Please note, the "keyhole mount" option is exclusive to the listings that are titled "low ceiling."
