Hand-Carved Two Monks Reading Bookends newest

Hand carved newest from the Black Forest region of West Germany, these friar monks are crafted sitting on a stack of books reading. The bases are a walnut color with red and dark tones for the books and they have detachable wooden pegs to remove them from the base. The monks can also be semi-turned to face right or left. These can be used as a door stop or to hold books, guest towels or toilet paper, or just to add a special mid-century touch to any area of the home. Sits 7” high to top of base and is 6 1/8” wide. Weighs 1.2 pounds.
