A gorgeous antique Victorian milk glass plate featuring an original hand painted work of art of coral pink roses. A sight often seen in one's garden during the month of June, beautiful scented roses. If you look closely there is a small insect ready to land on an rose blossom, and further down you will find a tiny birds nest.
The artist depicts a true rendition of a flowering branch of roses, on one small plate, which was utilized as a canvas. This lovely antique plate is in good condition, with slight wear to the back, and measures; 10" in diameter x 1 1/2" high.
Whether placed on an antique plate rack or resting on an easel this wonderful antique artwork would make a welcome addition to any decor and will always be a reminder of a beautiful summer day with the essence of roses in the air!
