If you have a newest Nikon DSLR with a built-in focus motor, you'll really enjoy this lens. If you're a Ken Rockwell fan like I am, Google “Nikon 28-85 AF Macro Rockwell” and follow the link to his review. The body is metal, beautifully machined. You can actually feel the quality. There's a window for distance to subject in feet and meters. Rotate the barrel while holding the button marked by orange “M” for macro mode. It's that simple. Note: This is the newer model with an improved focus ring (as recommended by Rockwell). Great range: Wide angle to standard to portrait. Good condition; normal wear.
