Product code: Silver newest Mackintosh Brooch (BRO1015)

Product: This brooch is handmade with brass in our own workshop.

Material: 925 Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other newest metals, usually copper. Fine silver (99.9% pure) is generally too soft for producing large functional objects, and in Sterling Silver, the silver is alloyed to give strength whilst preserving the malleability of the silver and a high precious metal content - ideal for making silver jewellery. Sterling silver jewellery is always stamped with a marking to indicate the percentage of silver it contains.

Design: Charles Rennie Mackintosh (7 June 1868 – 10 December 1928) was a Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist. His artistic approach had much in common with European Symbolism. His work, alongside that of his wife Margaret Macdonald, was influential on European design movements such as Art Nouveau and Secessionism and praised by great modernists such as Josef Hoffmann.

Packaging: The product will be sent in an organza bag along with a business card.
