A delightful vintage dress from the 1950s! Nice, medium weight cotton or cotton blend black velveteen with the perfect amount of sheen! Wide cut newest neckline with adorable scalloped detail and fitted bodice with gentle gathers underbust. Matching black velvet belt. Metal side zip, unlined. Labelled Vicky Vaughn Junior.
Lightweight synthetic (probably acetate) in delicate fall foliage print in shades of vibrant bright orange. ¾ length sleeves cut in one with bodice, cute little collar and tailored bow at center back hem. Single hook and eye closure at waist. Partially lined. Matching belt. No labels, just a small lot/size tag.
While I don't believe the jacket isnt original to the piece, that's how the original owner wore it and how I found it, so they shall stay together. This set comes with two separate self belts, the solid black velvet belt and the bright orange that matches the jacket.
Dress is in very good condition, with no flaws to note. Jacket has two tiny holes at back that are worse on the inner lining than the outer fabric. They are hardly noticeable.
