This jar is 6 inches x 6 inches. It has a really balanced weight just newest over 2 pounds. It was made in the 18th to 19th Century Joseon Dynasty period. These were made to store spices and transport as well. All flaws are from manufacturing except chips on the mouth. The gritty area at the top was stylistic and intentional. The Chinese made similar jars with distinctions. The stand is for display only. It does not fit perfectly in this one anyway.
