This hand embroidered baby quilt is made up of twelve blocks that I have cross stitched and then joined together and quilted. The cross stitch pattern is a ring of pink hearts with a blue ring connecting them. A large purple and pink heart is stitched in the middle. I have used 4 stitches in making these blocks. The Back Stitch, Blanket Stitch, Lazy Daisy Stitch, and French Knot. The blocks are machine pieced and machine quilted. I have used a floral pink and purple fabric to coordinate with the cross stitched hearts. The quilt is made of a cotton and polyester mix fabric and is 47" long and 37" wide. I bright pink satin binding completes the look of the quilt. It is washable but due to the intricate cross stitch pattern I recommend dry cleaning for best results or hand wash.
