I created these glasses for a beach wedding in Malibu. Malibu, CA was written in the sand at the base of the palm tree. Each was personalized with their names and date drawn in the sand on the base with the starfish. They are a beautiful addition to your summer glasses or vacation memory. The paint I use is Americana gloss enamel and the glasses are oven baked for durability. This step makes them top rack dishwasher safe. However, I would recommend treating them like the fine art pieces they are and preserving them by gentle hand washing. (Don't scrub or soak) That said they are absolutely made to be used. I have enjoyed my daily glass of wine using my favorite fish glass design for over 10 years now.
