These ethnic fine silver "Starburst Mandala" earrings are just rustic enough to appear vintage... something one might pick up in a bazaar in Lahore... but no one will know they were just made by my hands in Ojai with metal clay.
The ear wires are made of sterling silver with 24k gold overlay and each silver disk is approx. 5/8" diameter.
I have created this piece by hand from fine silver precious metal clay (not cast!) with an antique Afghan bronze jewelry die that I found in a market in central Asia, fired in my studio kiln then oxidized and hand polished.
Note: Precious Metal Clay is made from reclaimed/recycled silver!
