Woven Wool newest Throw

Hand-woven Wool Throw. This item was made from the fleece of Tulip, one of my beautiful sheep from our flock of Navajo Churro Sheep. This piece was made on a primitive peg loom, and I have added pom-poms for decorative effect. This piece measures 24 inches x 24 inches with 6 inch long attached pom-poms.
All of the wool used is from our pure-bred Navajo Churro Sheep. Our sheep are hand sheared,
the fleece is hand washed in a biodegradable detergent, picked of most vegetable matter, and made into primitive sort of rovings. I then use the 'rovings' to weave with on my peg loom.
All proceeds from the sale of the wool items goes back into the care and upkeep of these wonderful heritage breed of sheep.
