I originally made this bracelet for the Mad Scientists of Etsy Challenge. The topic was Rosalind Franklin, who's x-ray crystallography work was critical in Watson and Crick's determination of the double helix structure of DNA. There's a lot of criticism that Franklin did not get the credit she deserved.
If Rosalind Franklin were still alive, I'd definitely send her one of these. From this charm bracelet dangle the four bases found in DNA: A, C, G, and T. Like all my jewelry, I've rendered the shape of the molecules in quality, recycled/reclaimed sterling silver. The bracelet to which they are soldered is also sterling silver and is 7 or 7.5 inches long. It's so pretty - and so meaningful!
The bracelet will arrive in a cute gift box made of recycled materials. I'll also include some information about the bases - so it's great for gift-giving!
I can also make this bracelet with the RNA bases, in case there are any RNA World-ers out there (like me!).

“I couldn't be happier with my bracelet. It's so beautiful! The charms sit perfectly on my wrist and the chain itself matches the theme very neatly. For such a delicate piece the quality and care taken in its production is prominently evident and as far as I can see it's a flawless piece of jewellery! :)”
