Product code: Vintage 1900s Bodice Purple Wool With Cream Lace Overlay Edwardian Gibson Girl newest Leg o Mutton Sleeves

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 30” at the waist, and length is 16” to center back and 21” to center front. Sleeves are 24” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Has high neck, pigeon breast front, hooks and eyes down left side of front, fitted waist, boning in body and full sleeves, a variation on leg o' mutton sleeves with most of the fullness near the wrist) with fitted cuffs. Fabric is wool and cotton exterior (lace is cotton) and silk lining. No label. Very good condition for its age with shattering of the silk lining the main flaw. Exterior is sturdy enough that this piece could be worn but as with all 100+ year old clothing I would say wearable with caution. There is a little fading atop one shoulder newest and a bit of fraying to lace around back of neck. True colors are purple and light beige with pink underlaid under the lace.

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
