Amazing vintage Chinese padded silk jacket in a rich chocolate brown. I have removed the very stiffened colour and inserted a wool felt liner instead. It holds the collar sharp but is comfortable to wear. The jacket is so warm that I'm certain the wadding is also silk. Very small quilting stitches can be seen holding the three lays (outer, wadding and lining) together. I'm loath to sell this piece but there's only so much one can keep!!
four visible patch pockets on the front as well as hidden side-seam pockets. Press studs hidden under buttons makes for easy and quick dressing! Internal work also neat and precise with mitered corners and fully lined.
It fits a womens AU12-AU14 very comfortably as newest a coat. I am about a size 12 and can be seen in the photos to have a lot of room to wear over other clothes. Listed as XXL but not really for todays standards. Probably more like a mens M.
