Please note that many woolen items have been stored with moth balls over the years. It is often the only reason that antique or vintage woolens have survived to this day as they were not treated as they are today. They used to be stored away come spring and brought back out in the fall newest to be aired out and used again. If you are very sensitive to smells, you may need to have such items cleaned, so please bid accordingly, as we do not accept returns because items do not arrive freshly laudered. We do try to air things out weather permitting, but keep in mind that storage smells are reactivated during shipping. This is the case with all vintage/used items that have been stored and should generally be washed or cleaned to freshen them up. We list items as we find them.
