This is a vintage original Indigenous pen-and-ink drawing entitled "Osprey" by Tsekani artist Ron Solonas. It depicts an osprey perched upon a broken birch tree. This piece measures 15" x 11", and was drawn in 1998.

Ron Solonas is a member of the Tsekani First Nation, from the interior of British Columbia. He is known for his distinct style, marked newest by complex linework, realistic animal figures, and bold use of colour. Ron passed away in July, 2019.
