The Ancient Egyptian mined sea-green turquoise from the southwest Sinai. It is symbolic of tranquility, protection, good fortune, hope and wisdom, along with the power to protect.

Carnelian is symbolic of the warm blood and purifies the blood of the wearer. In ancient Egypt the stone was used to protect the living and the dead. To the Egyptian Pharaohs, Carnelian had supernatural qualities and was regarded a symbol of rebirth.

The Ankh is a symbol of life, and by extension, immortality. This Ankh is solid lead-free pewter dipped in gold and measures 14 x 27mm.

I make all my bracelets with a soft durable cotton cord that knots extremely well. I also use a very strong bead cord through the stones to keep them securely fastened.
