This is a giclée print of a painting I made in 2018. It was professionally photographed at Dot Editions newest in Asheville, NC and is printed with archival ink on 55 lb bond paper. It is signed and titled below the image.
This print is available in 12"x15.75" or 16"x21" (which includes .5" border). It can be printed up to 30"x40" upon request. Print ships flat. The original painting is also for sale for $1600.
In 2018 I was living in Rhode Island, painting in a tiny 2nd floor room of a very old house. I had been painting with acrylics for about 8 months because I was worried that the fumes and messy nature of oil paints would cause too much trouble in the small space. My problem was that acrylics also paint completely different, and I was getting frustrated with the rapid drying time. I finally went out and bought a canopy, set it up in the driveway, and got out the oil paints again. The joy of spreading around those thick buttery paints, listening to some good tunes in the summer breeze resulted in "Tub Time."
