3 Antique Arts & Crafts to Edwardian Colorful Paste Stone newest Brooches - Blue/Silver, Green/Gold, Purple/Gold
These three pins came to me together, and I didn't have the heart to break them up. Their eras are similar: I believe the gold-tone brass ones with green and with purple paste stones are Arts & Crafts era (the green with a hint of Art Nouveau), while the silver-tone pot metal with blue and clear paste stones may be Edwardian to 1920s.
None have makers' marks. The green stone brooch has a simple C-clasp, the purple stone brooch has a less familiar type of safety clasp (the prongs roll the opposite way from a typical safety clasp), and the blue stone brooch has a traditional safety clasp.
Condition: I'm not a jewelry expert, but I would call the condition newest of these good, with moderate wear overall. There is a tiny bit of corrosion on the back of the gold/purple brooch and a slight bend in the pin of the gold/green brooch.
Size: Silver/blue—2" x 3/4", Gold/green—1 1/4" x 3/4", Gold/purple—1 7/8" x 5/8"
