Bejeweled Spider #45 is made from repurposed jewelry, spray and acrylic paints, and recycled plastics. The legs of the spider are made from plastic strapping that binds cardboard boxes and would normally be discarded.
Its most prominent features are the various bold gold and yellow pieces of costume jewelry that make up the spider's head and body and the overall size of the spider.
David is an newest artist who started creating art creatures of all sorts from recycled, throw away, and natural materials. He enjoys being as inventive as possible using items that normally would be discarded or recycled. From there, he turns them into fun and whimiscal pieces of art waiting to become a part of your home. His creatures are labor intensive and are created one piece at a time. Each piece is clear coated. All are original art.
