Custom designed and made to order display board provides a distinct setting for your army or squad.


Creating the display board is a 4 step process:

1. DISCUSS IDEAS: The first step is essential and the more information you can provide, the better I'm able to develop a concept that works for you. During this initial step you will need to provide any initial thoughts or ideas you've had about a board. Along with any big picture ideas, you will need to provide information on models that will be displayed, including the army theme, quantity of miniatures to be displayed, and their base sizes. Photos are greatly appreciated. Finally, I'll want to hear about (or see) any example images that you are inspired by, or any specific ideas about the display that you already have.

2. DEVELOP CONCEPT: Based on the overall ideas and specific requirements, I will sketch out some initial concepts for the board. I'll send those as a PDF for review and comment by you. Once I receive your comments, I'll revise the concept and create newest a quick digital 3D model as a proof of concept to ensure the size and scale of the board accommodates the quantity and size of the models. If there are additional major revisions, the design will be tweaked accordingly and images sent for your approval. Also if there are added special features or effects that need to be provided to me (either direct shipment or I purchase), these will be identified to avoid any misunderstanding (see below).

At any point during steps 1 and 2, if you are unsure about moving forward, the order can be cancelled and fully refunded. Once I begin Step 3, I cannot offer a full refund.

3. BUILD THE BOARD: Based on the approved design concept, I will procure materials and begin the build. A build can take a few weeks to over a month, depending on size and complexity. Along the way I will send progress pics to keep you updated.

4. SHIPPING: Once the model is complete, the board will be boxed up and reasonably secured to help prevent damage in shipping. At this point, I will get an accurate weight for the completed board in order to determine shipping costs. The shipping cost will be billed separately and must be paid before I ship, no exceptions. Shipping is done via UPS ground (preferred for large packages).

ADDITIONAL FEATURES and EFFECTS: regardless of size, the your display board will kick-ass with durable materials, high amount of detailing, and overall professional quality. This includes a reasonable amount of effects and features that I can create from materials I have in stock or I can procure at reasonable cost. During the concept design step, there MAY be some additional features and effects that are considered above and beyond a reasonable baseline. These will be clearly identified and if there is agreement to include these items, then I will ask that either you provide those to me (shipped to me directly) and I will incorporate them into the board; OR if authorized by you, I will purchase the additional items on your behalf and you reimburse me for these items (billed separately). What are 'additional' features and effects? Let's say you want a volcanic themed board. As part of the baseline theme, I'll create a display board that has the overall look and feel of a volcanic terrain, with lava flows etc. But if you think the board should have functioning steam vents that spew smoke and a magma caldera with LED lighting, then we are into "additional" territory. With either option, you'll have a volcanic display board and the decision to include smoke and LED effects will be yours, approved in advance. Or let's say you want a post apocalyptic city with building ruins. I can create some basic building ruins as part of the baseline theme. But if you have specific buildings to include that are 3D printed by a 3rd party, then those buildings would need to be provided to me, or you would need to authorize the additional purchase in advance. In this case, I can also help to identify some potential building ruins options (and cost) from reputable 3rd parties.

The key principle during design and fabrication is clear communication in order to ensure we are on the same page throughout the process and to get you a board that looks fantastic and functions in the way you intended!!!
