I can imagine this piece on the breakfast table holding boiled eggs with salt in the bowl on the top. It is decorated with Chinese dragons. On the base it is marked with 2 1029 with a strange arrow and dots underneath.

The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines and there's no sign of any crazing but the dragons are worn in places; overall it is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age

The plate measures 8 7/8 inches by 6 3/4 inches and stands about 4 inches newest tall.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
