Wonderful vintage Lamplighter folk art Santa, handmade, fur trimmed green velvet coat, fur boots, great look! Santa is holding wreaths and a French horn, carrying a lamp. A wreath decorates his head.
Tag reads: In South-central Europe, for generations, it was believed that at Christmas an elderly gentleman would mysteriously emerge from the thick forest. Carrying a lamp and other symbols of the seasons, he moved across glistening snot wot bring Christmas spirit to all. As church bells rang at midnight, off in the darkness arose a shadowy light.
