These lovely earrings feature man-made lavender opals that shimmer from purple to aqua to green as they catch the light. They're small and light, which makes them perfect for a long day at the office straight through to dinner and dancing at night!
The earrings dangle just under 2", which means they fall to just about the top curve of the jaw, and they are just over a half an inch in diameter.
The earrings were made by using 2-part epoxy to set the opals into the silver-plated brass newest drop settings. Then I used jump rings to attach the bails to the ear wires, which are silver finished surgical steel.
These earrings were designed to go with my lavender opal necklace. While they are not a perfect match, they go together because they both feature the lavender opals on shiny silver settings. You can see them together in the last photo, above. You can find the necklace at https://www.etsy.com/listing/594988018/lavender-opal-pendant-on-silver-cobra.
