Lepidolite Goddess - Beautiful Beaded Cabochon Pendant featuring center cabochons of Lepidolite and Crazy Lace Agate. The stones are mounted on leather and set in seed bead bezels created with size 13 metallic pink Charlottes (faceted seed beads) and finished with bead embroidery in more shimmery seed beads. The pendant is strung on cable wire with freshwater pearls and seed bead spacers. The clasp and small silver beads that finish it off are all of sterling silver. Necklace newest length is approximately 20" and the pendant measures 2 1/2" long by 1" wide.
This piece is part of a series of "Goddess" pendants I have been creating over the past 10 years. Reminiscent of figurines of the ancient goddesses, the piece starts with a featured cabochon that represents the "body" of the goddess, with a round cabochon in a complementary color for the head of the goddess. Each stone carries it's own unique healing properties.
