"Aspen Owl" is an original two-color linocut print. This print was pressed by hand on Japanese rice paper as a limited print run of 20 prints. Please note: these are handmade, hand-pressed original prints and each one is unique. Inconsistencies exist between prints, especially rippling of the paper surrounding the print caused by the drying of ink. Prints are sold unframed.
"Aspen Owl" is inspired by nostalgic winter newest scenes in and around Aspen, Colorado. Born and raised in Aspen, I am continually inspired by the surrounding mountain-scapes, and in particular, the magic of winter in the mountains.
