Stunning bridal headdress.
Date: 1910s - 1930s
Color: beige and dark cream
Material: wax buds, wax flowers, glass pearls, silk thread, wire, silk taffeta ribbon, satin ribbon
Provenance: France
Measures: INCHES - internal diameter is 15.5", external diameter is 20.5". Spray 1.5"
CM - internal diameter is 39cm, external diameter is 62cm. Spray 4cm
Condition: Restored genuine piece, READY TO WEAR. Just exquisite, but please do not consider purchasing if you wish for something perfect and new. This is actually something old. Original silk thread and metal wire have replaced. Glass pearls have been cleaned for shining. As you can see on detailed pics buds look cracked, but the had been restored and consolidated using pure bee wax: this way they can keep their antique charm but still looking aged.
Description: This antique wax headpiece is composed by 7 lines of garlands (lucky number): one with flowers and buds, four with buds and newest two with faux glass pearls. It has two little corsages on each end.T his tiara can be dresses like a diadem or like a crown: closed over your head or open around your forehead, according with your hairstyle. The ribbons can be easily removed if you don't like or if you prefer to replace them.
The tiara will be packed very carefully in a special box for safe arrival. I'll be pleased to answer any question. All sales are final. I always combine shipping when possible, overruns will be refund via Etsy.
